Just look around. What do you see?
There are so many people with different skin colour, different height, different hair, different body shape all over the world. These are physical features of a person which is not in our hands. We are GOD’s creation and he has created us differently, the way he wanted.
BUT THERE IS ONE THING HE HAS GIVEN THE SAME TO ALL WITH NO CHANGE, SAME TO EACH AND EVERY PERSON WHICHEVER PART OF THE EARTH HE/SHE BELONGS : TIME.
There are 24 hours in a day in any part of the world and it will not stop, tick-tock tick-tock goes on. Each and every individual, student, professional, artist, worker, home maker, senior citizen, whoever it maybe, the time for all is the same. How you want to utilize your time is in your hands. Here GOD is nowhere involved and no-one is to be blamed.
There is one common line which I hear from everyone “I didn’t get the time to do”. My request is please don’t blame time. It is our attitude and approach towards our work, study, job etc. that makes the difference.
Some people are able to do various things, multiple work, while some are not able to do and some others are able to do few things in the same time.
IT IS OK. NOT ALL INDIVIDUALS ARE SAME, SOME ARE QUICK SOME ARE NOT SO QUICK WHICH IS FINE.
When we have list of work to do, we prioritize it in our mind. There is certain work which we don’t want to do and so it takes a back seat in our mind. My only concern in these situations is, it is OK to not be doing all things but then be true to yourself at least. Don’t blame time and say “time was not there”. Time is always very much there, it is we who don’t want to do a certain work, accept it and be true to your own self if not to others.
There are 24 hours in a day, on an average if we sleep 7 hours a day which we should (at least I do), 4 hours of your entertainment (any form it may be) which again I think is very important for individual personality development, 2 hours for breakfast-lunch-dinner (I am being liberal), you still have around half day left with you.
In my student days, my mother used to give this kind of break-up of time and used to ask me “how you want to spend the rest of your day, depends on you my child”. Initially I used to feel very bad that my mother always simply asks me about how I spend my rest of the time, neither scolds me nor say anything. Gradually I realised that I felt miserable not because my mother asks me a simple question, the fact was, I was not using my time, rather killing it that made me feel irritated from within. So my humble request to all my readers, first be true to yourself from within.
Also dear readers, this is my question to all of you, need not answer me, but answer yourself truthfully.
Students; how are you spending your rest of the time?
Professionals; how are you spending rest of the time?
Home makers, small children, workers, senior citizens, all the people around, same question to you.
I cannot tell you what is the answer, because there is no correct answer to this. Different people, different profession, different environment, so answer will be different for each individual. Only you know the right answer being true to your conscious.
My only suggestion is, even if you are not utilizing time, killing it, be truthful to yourself, then at least you will have scope of change. If you keep blaming time and others, there will be no scope of improvement in future.
REMEMBER GOD HAS GIVEN ONE THING SAME TO ALL : TIME
Very well written Swati!

Thought Provoking! Time for some introspection.

[…] Make the child study regularly at least for half an hour to one hour a day even during summer vacations. Don’t make them study for hours and hours at this age, if you make them study for long in primary school, they will run away from studies. Additionally, providing children with autonomy over their free time can help them develop a sense of responsibility and self-awareness about how they choose to spend their time.
